    • The photo was taken in front of the entrance to the Crescent Moon Theatre on Highway 89A, above which a traditional film title is emblazoned, reminiscent of the old cinemas of the West. Kanab in Utah, USA, is known as ‘Little Hollywood’. Western films and smoking Colts are symbols of freedom in the 20th century. Famous actors and film legends spent time in Kanab, including John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, Frank Sinatra and Robert Redford. The town is located near the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and has served as the backdrop for films such as Planet of the Apes and others.
