Impulse of Illumination
My digital photography as a transformer of the real world
‘Impulse of Illumination’ invites the viewer to see the craziness and dynamics of the world of light in big cities and small towns in a new way – as a reflection of a universal actionism, a symphony of light and shadow that circles endlessly and shifts the boundaries of perception.
The forms and structures in the picture arise exclusively from the reality of the illuminations and the conscious control of light and time during a single shot, and always at the same time of evening, in the city centre.
My approach is a kinetic photographic art, in which light streams and urban scenes are transformed and new interpreted. Reality is alienated, movement is captured, and so images are created that tell of the energy, agility and tireless dynamics of urban spaces. It is a game between control and coincidence, between reality and vision.
