Impulse of Illumination

My digital photography as a transformer of the real world

At the heart of this collection, “Impulse of Illumination,” is the fundamental interplay of place, time, and light, each of which is an integral part of new visual sensations created in real locations and places using existing light sources (cars, streetlights, neon signs, and illuminated facades).

My approach is a kinetic photographic art, in which light streams and urban scenes are transformed and new interpreted. Reality is alienated, movement is captured, and so images are created that tell of the energy, agility and tireless dynamics of urban spaces. It is a game between control and coincidence, between reality and vision.

"In a world full of digital images, I offer real light art – photographed with long exposure in real locations. No AI, no montage – just a camera, light and a unique moment."
